Outer Temple Chambers barrister Mark Mullins appointed to Sports Resolutions UK panels
Outer Temple Chambers is delighted to announce that Sport Resolutions UK, the independent disputes resolution service for sport in the UK, has appointed Mark Mullins to its panels of arbitrators and mediators.
The Panel Appointment and Review Committee of Sports Resolutions has appointed Mark to its Athlete Selection & Eligibility, Commercial, Integrity & Discipline, Employment & Discrimination, Paralympic & Disability, Football, Lead Training & Seminars, and Occasional Pro Bono arbitration panels. Mark, a qualified mediator, has also been appointed to Sports Resolutions mediators panel.
Mark is a public law, regulatory and employment and discrimination barrister who has appeared in courts and tribunals at all levels including the European Court of Justice. He is a judge of the First Tier Tribunal (Mental Health) and a member of the tribunal’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health panel.
Mark has experience as a sports administrator and Board member at club, national and international level in the sports of baseball and softball. He is a former Secretary of the British Baseball Federation, a board member of Baseball SoftballUK, the national development agency for baseball and softball and UK representative of the Collegiate Baseball League Europe, based in the Netherlands. His sports law interests include: governance, athlete talent development and selection, equality issues, safeguarding, mental health and well being and the use of mediation in sports disputes.
