Culture & Diversity

Great care is taken to ensure that every contact with us is a positive experience for our clients.

This includes the way you are looked after when you visit chambers, the ease with which you can contact your barrister and how you are kept up to date with your case. We want our clients to recommend us.

Personal Qualities

Our barristers and staff are our greatest asset – our services can only be as good as the people who deliver them. They are not only technically capable and commercially astute, but professional and friendly, and they get the training and support they need to deliver a high standard of customer service.

Positive About Diversity

We seek to recruit only the very best and we strongly encourage applications from women, members of ethnic minorities and candidates with disabilities. We encourage difference and diversity and are totally committed to equality of opportunity. We want to be able to work with clients from all backgrounds and we aim to be open, friendly and approachable so that all clients feel comfortable working with us.

By the end of 2017 we aim to be in the top 20 Chambers for diversity.

In line with the Bar Standard’s Board’s Equality and Diversity Rules, Chambers invited barristers, staff and pupils to complete a survey in 2015 relating to the following characteristics: age, gender, disability, ethnic group, religion or belief, sexual orientation, socio-economic background and caring responsibilities. There was no obligation to complete the survey. An outline of the responses can be found here.
