Outer Temple have successfully opened an annexe in Abu Dhabi, this acts as a hub for its commercial and regulatory work in the United Arab Emirates.

Leading cases Outer Temple Chambers has been involved in include:

  • An ICC International Commercial Arbitration (London). Acting for an outsourced logistics supplier of a global car manufacturer in a claim for damages in excess of US$300,000,000.
  • Series of cases brought by DEFRA’s former contractors arising from foot and mouth disease for damages in excess of £35m.
  • An action in the TCC to set aside a mediated settlement with the government on the grounds of economic duress.
  • Acting for the Interim Receiver in a claim brought by company creditors to appoint administrators over an insolvent company, court determined precedence of Receivers.
  • An LCIA International Commercial Arbitration acting for a Middle East company in a banking dispute over Foreign exchange transactions
