Case name: Gosport Memorial Hospital Inquest – March/April 2009

Case summary: Acting for family in 6 week inquest in which families alleged individual doctor and nursing staff had over-prescribed medication to elderly residents in a ward at Gosport War Memorial Hospital hastening their deaths. Narrative verdict returned in favour of family represented.

Case name: JN Dairies – March 2010

Case summary: Protracted public inquiry into West Midlands dairy business against background of intense hostile competition and targeted VOSA investigation running to 70 pages into all aspects of compliance. Successful judicial review of traffic commissioners refusal to adjourn. Resulted in curtailment of limited amount of fleet over limited period.
