Farhaz particularly enjoys cases with an international / cross-border dimension. Recent examples of his international work include acting for a New York based investment bank in cross-border regulatory proceedings; successfully acting for an international bank in a contractual dispute in the DIFC Courts and appearing for a party to a hedge fund dispute which was also the first case to come before the ADGM Court.
Farhaz is an executive committee (and founder) member of the Financial Services Lawyers Association and COMBAR.
He is a member of the Commercial Court User’s Committee.
He also acts as a consultant to the OECD in relation to rule of law and access to justice for commercial organisations projects.
