Richard's practice is weighted towards commercial, regulatory and public law work in the UK as well as in the United States of America, the Caribbean, and now the United Arab Emirates with the opening of Chambers' annex in Abu Dhabi.
His practice has taken him repeatedly to the Court of Appeal and several times recently to the House of Lords in cases in all his core areas of practice. In public law - Jackson v Attorney-General; commercial fraud - Norris v USA and R v GG plc, and regulatory law - R v Chargot Limited.
