Welcome to Outer Temple Chambers

We are a dynamic and proactive set. Five years ago we agreed on a strategy of building stand-alone workgroups in each of our key practice areas with the emphasis on depth and excellence at all levels of call. Since then, Chambers has grown from 32 to 64 Members, a level of growth which reflects our ambition and our judgment as to the direction in which the legal services market should be moving. As we have grown, our ethos has remained the same. We continue to provide high quality advocacy and advisory work while seeking to remain approachable and determined to solve clients’ legal problems.

During that five year period, the number of Members recommended by Chambers UK and The Legal 500 as leaders in their fields has risen to 32 – a threefold increase - and we have doubled the areas of law in which Chambers is acknowledged to have a major market presence. Chambers remains determined to continue to improve all aspects of the services we provide still further and we relish the opportunities and challenges provided by the ever-increasing flow of work.

Chambers & Partners 2007 says:

"This set has grown exponentially since it focused on developing specialist independent work groups in each of its six key practice areas. This obviously diverse practice is undertaken by a steadily expanding team of “first-rate” barristers. With a “strong showing” of juniors and silks, the employment and pensions groups are particularly successful. Discrimination law is a notable set strength. Personal Injury expertise proves another strong suit. This work ties in with the set’s much lauded health and safety practice."
