Keira Gore
Called to bar 2008
Keira began her pupillage in October 2009 under the supervision of Naomi Cunningham. During her first three months of pupillage Keira was exposed to a variety of employment cases, for an equal balance of Claimants and Respondents, across a wide range of employment law issues.
Eliot Woolf supervised Keira's second three months of pupillage, during which time she acquired experience in a broad range of personal injury and clinical negligence matters. Keira's second six months' pupillage will be under the supervision of David Grant and James Leonard.
Keira accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers' work.
Before starting pupillage Keira worked as a Law Clerk for the Arizona Capital Representation Project, assisting capital defence attorneys in habeas corpus appeals. She gained experience in legal research and investigation, drafting appeal briefs, and participating in conferences with clients on death row. Keira has also acted as a caseworker for the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative in Ghana, gaining invaluable advocacy experience at the Magistrates Court in Accra.
Keira has a First Class degree from the University of York (BA Hons), and completed the Graduate Diploma of Law in 2007 with distinction.
