In addition to being a member of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) panel of arbitrators, Andrew Spink KC has also been appointed as an arbitrator with the Abu Dhabi International Centre (arbitrateAD) in the Middle East.
The Abu Dhabi International Arbitration Centre (arbitrateAD) acts as a neutral and impartial dispute resolution forum for commercial and government entities. It administers regional and global arbitration cases for parties who have chosen arbitration as their preferred dispute resolution method. Arbitration under the arbitrateAD Rules is an efficient, confidential, and effective method of settling disputes out of court. The dispute is decided by unbiased experts, is overseen by an experienced Arbitration Court, and is managed by a Secretariat committed to achieving swift and first-rate arbitral decisions that are enforceable in over 160 countries.
Andrew is a highly respected advocate with over 40 years’ experience at the Bar and 22 years as a successful silk (QC/KC). He is a part-time judge who has sat for many years as a Deputy High Court Judge in the King’s Bench and Chancery Divisions of the English High Court and is a Justice of the Astana International Financial Centre Court in Kazakhstan. Andrew has an extensive business law practice as a KC. He was awarded Data & Crypto Silk of the Year at the Legal 500 UK Awards 2024 and nominated Commercial Leading Silk of the Year at Legal 500 English Bar in the Middle East 2025. As well as appearing as a leading advocate, he is highly sought after for the provision of expert technical and strategic advice to clients early in proposed litigation or arbitration and in non-contentious situations.
