Outer Temple’s Sarah Crowther KC and Ian Denham are speaking at the PEOPIL Joint Occupational Health/Workplace Accidents and RTA Conference on Thursday 15th & Friday 16th June 2023 in Greece. PEOPIL was founded in 1996 by a group of personal injury lawyers practicing in various jurisdictions in Europe. Their aim was to set up a networking organisation to provide a forum for personal injury lawyers across Europe and to improve and promote judicial co-operation and mutual knowledge of legal and judicial systems of European jurisdictions in this field. Olinga Tahzib, of Outer Temple Chambers, has recently been instructed to join a team of counsel to represent the interests of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) in the UK COVID-19 Inquiry. The Inquiry has been set up to examine the UK’s response to and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and to learn lessons for the future. The Inquiry’s work is guided by its Terms of Reference.
