Sophie is developing a broad practice across Chambers’ specialisms, with particular emphasis on employment and discrimination, commercial and public law. She joined Chambers as a full tenant in 2025 following the successful completion of her pupillage.
Sophie holds a first-class degree in Spanish and German from the University of Cambridge, before an MPhil in European Literature in 2014 and a PhD in modern Spanish and Argentinian literature in 2019. Sophie was awarded a scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn and an Excellence Award from BPP University to study the GDL, which she completed with a high distinction.
Before joining chambers, Sophie was a caseworker at a Legal Aid services firm in London, where she specialised in judicial reviews and statutory appeals brought under Part VII Housing Act 1996.
