Warren’s practice is largely in commercial and administrative law, with a portion being in employment law and restraint of trade law. He has appeared as sole counsel (as junior and as a silk) in all levels of courts in South Africa, including the Supreme Court of Appeal and the Constitutional Court.

His court work spans trial advocacy (trials and arbitrations) as well as submissions advocacy – including opposed motions, appeals and administrative law reviews. He has taught advocacy locally and internationally, and has a passion for upskilling and teaching the next generation of barristers.
