Bianca joined Chambers as a tenant in 2015 after successfully completing pupillage. She accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ practice including commercial litigation, probate, employment & discrimination, financial services, personal injury, inquests and international related matters. She has a particular interest in international arbitration.

Advocacy experience includes High Court and County Court hearings, multiday Employment Tribunal work, inquests at the Coroner’s Court and hearings at the Crown Court.

Bianca has a BCL from Lincoln College, University of Oxford, and a first-class law degree from the University of Manchester. She is a former solicitor, having qualified at Magic Circle firm Slaughter and May in 2012.

Prior to starting pupillage, Bianca was a judicial assistant to the Lord Chief Justice, Lord Thomas at the Court of Appeal from April to July 2014. She was a research assistant at the Law Commission in the Common Law and Commercial Team in 2013-2014. She undertook a stage at the European Court of Human Rights in 2012.

Bianca speaks fluent German, advanced French and elementary Brazilian Portuguese.

Bianca is licensed to undertake public access work.

Personal Injury

Bianca appears in personal injury cases at the County Court relating to damages disputes in low value personal injury claims, infant approval settlements and CMCs, including determining the parties’ budget.

She has drafted a variety of pleadings in personal injury cases, such as a defence in relation to a woman’s alleged negligent care at a care home, and advising generally on liability and quantum.

Bianca has given a talk at a solicitors firm on the Limitation Act 1930.

Goldhill v London Borough of Bromley

Representing a claimant in a fast track case regarding whether, following a motorbike accident, there had been a breach of the duty to maintain the highway under section 41 of the Highways Act 1980.
