David Russell QC at London Australian Bar Association conference

The London ABA conference will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of July at Inner Temple. Robert Rhodes QC to moderate International Summit Grand Panel

Wolters Kluwer law conference for in-house counsel is due to be held on Thursday 8 June in Shanghai. This is the second annual international arbitration, compliance and competition law summit. Robert has been invited to give the keynote address and to moderate a Grand Panel. Sentencing Guidelines and Prosecution of Individuals in Health & Safety cases

The Health and Safety Lawyers Association (“HSLA”) spring seminar programme attracted over 150 delegates across three separate seminars this year. James Leonard, Paul Rogers, Tim Green and Oliver Powell of Outer Temple Chambers provided key talks across the three seminars. They addressed the impact of the new sentencing guidelines and the increased prosecution by the HSE of individuals, to audiences in Bristol, London and Birmingham, with a Glasgow seminar scheduled for June. Outer Temple Chambers hosts ‘Pro Bono Connect’ launch

Promoting Pro bono collaboration between barristers and solicitors. Outer Temple Chambers is delighted to have hosted the Pro Bono Connect launch seminar this morning, Tuesday 8th November. The Pro Bono Connect referral scheme brings solicitors and barristers together to provide free legal services to individuals, charities and community groups. These Pro Bono barristers and solicitors work as a team by sharing workload and using their complementary skills. This scheme’s purpose is both to increase the scope and volume of pro bono work and to strengthen the relationship between solicitors and barristers.
