The Health and Safety Lawyers Association (“HSLA”) spring seminar programme attracted over 150 delegates across three separate seminars this year. James Leonard, Paul Rogers, Tim Green and Oliver Powell of Outer Temple Chambers provided key talks across the three seminars. They addressed the impact of the new sentencing guidelines and the increased prosecution by the HSE of individuals, to audiences in Bristol, London and Birmingham, with a Glasgow seminar scheduled for June. Promoting Pro bono collaboration between barristers and solicitors. Outer Temple Chambers is delighted to have hosted the Pro Bono Connect launch seminar this morning, Tuesday 8th November. The Pro Bono Connect referral scheme brings solicitors and barristers together to provide free legal services to individuals, charities and community groups. These Pro Bono barristers and solicitors work as a team by sharing workload and using their complementary skills. This scheme’s purpose is both to increase the scope and volume of pro bono work and to strengthen the relationship between solicitors and barristers.
