Clinical negligence and international injuries specialist, Ian Denham, co-authored an article, “Medical Tourism and Package Travel Regulations” with Polina Sokolovska (formerly of Stewarts), which was recently published in the Journal of Personal Injury Law. The article considers whether medical procedures and treatments could fall within the scope of the Package Travel Regulations and, if so, what guidance there may be establish by what standards such treatment should be assessed and whether liability might be established against a tour operator.
