In an organized society, is tax collection limitless? Are there other things, principles, concepts, ideas that come before the collection of taxes in a given state? The answer to there questions would have been very straightforward a decade ago; there are clearly other things that should be before the desperate collection of taxes, such as democracy, rule of law, freedom, checks and balances, confidentiality and the respect and value of the citizens as such. These days however, it seems that the answer to those questions has changed. Join us to discuss.
