Double nomination at Chambers Bar Awards 2020

We are delighted to be nominated Client Service Set of the Year whilst Rachel Vickers has been nominated Clinical Negligence Junior of The Year at the Chambers Bar Awards 2020.

Despite the difficulties of lockdown, Chambers & Partners have been busy completing the research process to decide the rankings for their 2020 edition. As part of this process they identify those worthy of their Chambers Bar Awards and have taken notice of the hard work by the Outer Temple team in not one but two categories:

  1. Clinical Negligence Junior of the Year – Rachel Vickers, Outer Temple Chambers
  2. Client Service Set of the Year – Outer Temple Chambers

Chambers stated “To be ranked by Chambers means that your set and its members are at the top of the profession. To be shortlisted at the Chambers Bar Awards means, as a result of extensive objective research by our dedicated team of over 200 analysts, you are at the pinnacle of the profession. Congratulations!”

Rebecca Priestley, CEO, commented “We are honoured to be nominated for these Chambers Bar Awards, alongside so many brilliant lawyers and sets. We are delighted to see this recognition for our very fine lawyer, Rachel Vickers, and for our client services. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do and we strive for constant improvement in our client services, which is more important than ever in the current challenging times. Thank you to everyone who supported our nomination for these prestigious awards.”

The Awards Evening

The 2020 Chambers Bar Awards will be very different this year, being held virtually on Thursday, 19 November 2020. Chambers & Partners are suggesting donations of the traditional seat or table fee to be made to their charity partner Media Defence. Donations can be made directly on their website with a comment ‘Chambers Bar Awards’.

We will of course be attending from our homes to wish Rachel and the team the best of luck on the night.
