The CINET Neurotechnology Conference focused on ‘Shaping Common Ground in Neurotech Regulation and Governance’. The objective of the conference was to bring together leading academics, members of the neurotechnology industry, and representatives of international organisations to share their experiences and perspectives, highlight pending challenges and gaps, and define the next steps in the ongoing effort to establish a robust regulatory and governance framework for neurotechnology.
Harry Lambert joined a panel discussion on the first day of the conference. Harry discussed ‘Intrusions into the Mind: The Rights to Mental Privacy and Mental Integrity’ alongside Jennifer Chandler of University of Ottawa, Philipp Kellmeyer of University of Mannheim and José M. Muñoz of CINET.

Harry Lambert is Barrister and Coroner specialising in the areas of product liability, clinical negligence, and human rights law. He is also renowned for his expertise in group litigation claims relating to these areas. Harry is one of the leading Product Liability juniors at the Bar. He is also at the forefront of thought leadership on the law and emerging tech and is the Founder of the Centre for Neurotechnology and Law, whilst his 15-part series on Neurotechnology & The Law has garnered academic acclaim and been turned into a podcast run by the Italian equivalent of the Financial Times. Harry’s expertise on neurotechnology is such that he is asked to speak all over the world and he has given or is giving talks in inter alia Spain, Italy, Turkey, India, Australia, Canada, Ethiopia and Chile.
