The PEOPIL annual conference was a two day-event hosted in Dublin this year. Ian Denham kick-started the series of talks from 10:30-11:30am with a panel session on ‘Brexit: where are we now and where are we going?’
The discussion was chaired by Liam Moloney, Vice-President PEOPIL/Moloney & Co. Solicitors, Ireland. Ian was joined by fellow panellists Joanne Brine (JMW Solicitors) and Donald Mackay (Digby Brown).
A full agenda of the day can be found here. Paul Barton and Victoria Bunn of Outer Temple Chambers joined Ian at the event. They had a great time meeting delegates and catching up with colleagues.
PEOPIL was founded in 1996 by a group of personal injury lawyers. Their aim was to set up a networking organisation to provide a forum for personal injury lawyers across Europe and to improve and promote judicial co-operation and mutual knowledge of legal and judicial systems of European jurisdictions in this field. Ian Denham regularly attends and speaks at various PEOPIL events and is representative for England & Wales on the PEOPIL General Board. We are delighted to be a sponsor of the event, which Ian has attended regularly.
Ian Denham is a leading junior in the field of cross-border personal injury law with a wealth of experience and knowledge in dealing with complex jurisdictional and applicable law issues. He is an accomplished advocate and is regularly instructed to act for both claimants and defendants at trial and contested hearings.
