Hot Topics in 2025 for International Dispute Resolution

Date: 6 June, Time: 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Location: Outer Temple Chambers, 222 Strand, WC2R 1BA, London
Hosted by: Outer Temple Chambers, Fox Williams and Rimkus

As global disputes become increasingly complex, the landscape of international dispute resolution is evolving to address emerging challenges. Outer Temple’s International Arbitration experts, Lucian Ilie and Joshua Ray will be joined by some of the industry’s experts, to pick apart the following statements:

  • The growing use of economic sanctions has created significant challenges for dispute resolution, impacting enforcement, contractual obligations, and cross-border transactions.
  • As investor-state disputes continue to rise, the enforceability of arbitral awards remains a pressing concern.
  • With economic crime on the rise, asset tracing has become a critical tool for creditors and claimants seeking enforcement.
  • The rapid development of AI is transforming legal practice from predictive analytics to AI-assisted decision-making.

Join us on the day to hear, first-hand, how the landscape is evolving and be part of the conversation on how to tackle the challenges and embrace the opportunities. The event will be followed by networking drinks and the opportunity to discuss the topics further with speakers and fellow colleagues.
