Jennifer Seaman appointed as a Full Member of STEP

We are delighted to announce that Jennifer Seaman (TEP) has been appointed as a Full Member of STEP, the global professional association for trust and estate practitioners.

Jennifer has been appointed to the top level of STEP membership. Full Members are qualified practitioners with proven qualifications and experience who adhere to STEP’s Code of Professional Conduct, undertake continuing professional development, and hold Professional Indemnity Insurance. TEPs are internationally recognised as experts in their field.

STEP is the global professional association for those advising families on planning their assets across generations by setting and upholding high professional standards, informing public policy, promoting education, and connecting practitioners globally to share knowledge and best practice.

Jennifer’s practice covers Traditional Chancery, Commercial Chancery, Pensions, Trusts and Commercial litigation. Jennifer was in the landmark Supreme Court case of Futter v. HMRC, one of the leading cases on trustee powers. In Chambers & Partners, Jennifer is recognised as being “particularly knowledgeable on trustee powers”.  Jennifer was appointed to the AG’s B Panel in June 2016.  She is also a member of ACTAPS. Jennifer is regularly asked to write articles in leading publications, including in Trusts & Trustees and Trusts Quarterly Review, and gives lectures on Trusts topics, including rectification and equitable compensation.
