Jonathan Hand and Fiona Horlick to be appointed Queen’s Counsel

Chambers is delighted to congratulate two members, Jonathan Hand and Fiona Horlick on their successful applications for silk. Jonathan was called to the Bar in 1990, and specialises in Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury work. Fiona was called to the Bar in 1992 and her practice includes regulatory proceedings including Professional Discipline, Health and Safety and Crime.

This is a fantastic personal achievement for both Outer Temple members and huge recognition of their respective skill and expertise.

Jonathan is currently ranked by Chambers & Partners and by The Legal 500 as a leading junior in both Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury.

He has wide-ranging experience across both these fields, and acts for a mix of Claimant and Defendant clients mainly involving catastrophic brain and spinal injuries, as well as fatal accident claims.

Fiona is a Band 1 (top tier) leading junior in both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, with a particular expertise in business crime, medical crime, and health and safety criminal proceedings. She has extensive experience as an advocate in all courts from the Privy Council downwards, including the Court of Appeal, the High Court, Crown Courts, and is widely known for her unbending will to succeed, charisma and ability to handle clients with sensitivity.

Fiona is one of 30 female silks appointed this year.

We would like to thank clients who have supported both Jonathan and Fiona throughout their careers to date and wish them every success moving forwards.

The ceremony will take place on the 11th March. For the full list please click here.
