On 15 June 2018, Emile Cilliers, the defendant in the attempted murder parachute case prosecuted by Michael Bowes QC, was sentenced by Mr Justice Sweeney at Winchester Crown Court to life imprisonment for two counts of attempted murder and one count of recklessly endangering life.
The minimum term before Cilliers will be considered for parole is 18 years’ imprisonment.
