As London International Disputes Week returns, this year with the theme “Tradition, trust and transformation in international dispute resolution”, delegates from around the world are getting ready to network, learn and discuss at one of the largest global gatherings of the international disputes community.
Outer Temple Chambers’ arbitration specialist, Olivia Kaye, will be joining a panel of esteemed speakers on Thursday 4th June 2026 from 16:30 to 18:00 to discuss ‘From Mine to Market: Regulatory and Dispute Trends in the Global Critical Minerals Market’.
Panel members:
Critical minerals—lithium, cobalt, graphite, nickel, rare earths—sit at the heart of the global energy transition. As the UK, EU and other jurisdictions push forward with ambitious net zero strategies, the legal landscape surrounding extraction, processing, financing, offtake, and ESG-related accountability is becoming more complex and more contested.
Our panel will explore the global approach to the energy transition and critical disputes with a “round the world” view of recent legislation changes, regulatory approach and local issues that are impacting the extraction of critical minerals and how these changes are leading to (or resolving) disputes.
This will be an in person event, taking place at 1 Vine Street, London, W1J 0AH
