As London International Disputes Week returns, this year with the theme “Tradition, trust and transformation in international dispute resolution”, delegates from around the world are getting ready to network, learn and discuss at one of the largest global gatherings of the international disputes community.
Outer Temple Chambers’ litigation specialist, Ahmed Elhusseiny, will be joining a panel of esteemed speakers on Wednesday 3rd June 2026 from 11:30am to 13:00pm to discuss ‘Force Majeure and the Middle East – Practical Solutions for Turbulent Times’ over lunch.
Panel members:
War in the Middle East. Sweeping trade tariffs. Supply chains in chaos. When the world shifts beneath your feet, does your contract provide adequate protection? This panel brings together leading disputes practitioners who work between London and the Middle East to examine force majeure and how clauses are interpreted under the laws of England and Wales, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. When force majeure falls short, our panellists will also consider what other contractual tools and legal options can help parties navigate the storm. Our session will provide essential guidance for anyone managing contracts and resolving disputes in uncertain times.
This will be an in person event, taking place at Lewis Silkin, Arbor, 255 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 9AX
