David Russell KC and Philip Punwar contributed to and attended the launch of Volume 4 reissue & Volume 5 of The Laws of the DIFC on 19th October 2023 at the DIFC academy. In 2016, The Laws of the DIFC series was launched to provide a narrative statement of the Laws of the DIFC on a subject-by-subject basis in a similar way to the famous Halsbury’s Laws of England. We are pleased to announce that Philip Punwar has been nominated to join the Court Users’ Committee (CUC) in the DIFC (established in 2006 and acts as a liaison between the DIFC Courts and its users). The Court Users’ Committee is an independent liaison body between the DIFC Courts and Court users, with the brief of supporting cost effective and professional service provision.
