Olinga Tahzib contributes to Facts & Figures 2024/25 as newly appointed editor

Earlier this year, Olinga Tahzib was appointed an editor of Facts & Figures, the key practitioners guide used by barristers, solicitors and all levels of the judiciary in calculating past and future losses in personal injury and clinical negligence cases.

The 29^th edition of the book, which is available to pre-order, will be published this month by Sweet & Maxwell.

New additions to the 29th edition include guidance on the offsetting of benefits against damages and details of historical rates for Carer’s Allowance.

About the author

Olinga Tahzib is a sought-after personal injury and clinical negligence practitioner, ranked by Legal 500, where he is described as an “impressive junior”.

His caseload increasingly consists of catastrophic injury claims, including brain and spinal cord injury cases. He has experience of group litigation and is presently acting for some 80 clients who bring claims for unlawful sedation and sexual abuse whilst inpatients at an adolescent mental health facility.

Olinga is highly numerate and has particular experience with quantum matters. His schedules of loss are described as “a work of art” in Legal 500.
