Oliver Powell and Sophie O’Sullivan were delighted to contribute to the latest issue of the Government’s Public Sector Counter Fraud Journal, with an article exploring how the UK justice system has adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Oliver Powell and Sophie O’Sullivan have been published in Issue 5 of the Public Sector Fraud Journal.

The Government’s Public Sector Counter Fraud Journal explores the current challenges the government faces when tackling fraud. This issue includes articles on:

Oliver and Sophie wrote about how the UK justice system has adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic. The article analyses the scope of The Coronavirus Act 2020, the emergency legislation that received Royal Assent and became UK law on 25 March 2020. It also considers access to justice during lockdown and how civil and criminal proceedings have been affected.
