The Court of Appeal has published its judgment in (1) Lawrence Ewan McGaughey (2) Neil Martin Davies (Claimants/Appellants) -v- Universities Superannuation Scheme Ltd (First Defendant/First Respondent), the landmark company multiple derivative case which raised the question of directors’ duties in relation to divestment in fossil fuels for the first time.

Outer Temple Chambers are delighted to announce that the application window for our winter 2023 mini-pupillage is now open.

We are accepting applications from 1st September – 13th October 2023. To apply, please complete our application form and send to pupillage@outertemple.com by the closing date.

Our mini-pupillage will run from Monday 11th December – Wednesday 13th December 2023.

We welcome applications from all backgrounds and encourage applications from women, minority ethnic groups, people with disabilities and LGBT+ candidates as well as those from other groups which are underrepresented in the legal sector.
