OTC welcomes Anthony Lo Surdo SC to chambers

Outer Temple Chambers is delighted to announce that Anthony Lo Surdo SC has joined chambers as a Professional Associate, based in Sydney, Australia.

Anthony joins our global team of legal experts and will enhance our existing presence in the Southern Hemisphere with his experience and impressive existing practice. He is qualified to practice across all states and territories of Australia as well as internationally.

Anthony is a Senior Counsel practising primarily from 12 Wentworth Selborne Chambers in Sydney, Australia. He also practises from Lonsdale Chambers in Melbourne. He qualified as a barrister in 1996, following 9 years’ practice as a solicitor in leading Australian law firms and was appointed an SC, equivalent to QC, in 2011. He was also Head of his Chambers in Sydney for a number of years.

He is a highly regarded arbitrator and mediator. His Bar practice covers commercial, equity, corporations, insurance, professional indemnity, property and sports law. He has a particular interest in banking and insolvency and has been named as one of Australia’s leading insolvency and restructuring Silks.

He has an impressive list of professional qualifications as well as panel appointments and is a member of no less than nine institutes or associations. The full list of accreditations is available on his profile.

Anthony has a sophisticated understanding of the international arbitration market. He has chosen to join OTC to focus on Europe and the Middle East, including the Euro-centric world of professional football and other international sports federations and sporting organisations based on the Continent and elsewhere. He has a deep knowledge and experience of sports law and is an arbitrator and mediator of the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
