Outer Temple chairs Bar Council briefing on Abu Dhabi Global Market

Michael Patchett-Joyce, Outer Temple barrister and Chair of the Bar Council Middle East/Gulf Interest Group, led the Bar Council’s recent briefing seminar on the Abu Dhabi Global Market.

The seminar was held in London, on Wednesday 3 May.

The panellists gave an overview of Abu Dhabi Global Market’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority, Courts and Arbitration.

Linda Fitz-Alan, Registrar and Chief Executive of ADGM Courts, and Emmanuel Givanaki, Head of Policy and Legal of ADGM were part of the presentation group of the ADGM. They discussed arbitration and the latest developments of the ADGM, including the application of English Common Law within the ADGM.
