Outer Temple Chambers Shortlisted at UK Bar Awards 2026

Outer Temple Chambers have received three nominations at the 2026 UK Bar Awards, hosted by Chambers & Partners.

We are delighted to share that we have received a set nomination and two individual nominations. The nominations are as follows:

• Client Service Set of the Year – Outer Temple Chambers
• Health & Safety Silk of the Year – James Leonard KC
• Sports Junior of the Year – Louis Weston

James Leonard KC specialises predominantly in Health, Safety & Environmental Law including marine based work and has an established practice in Disciplinary & Regulatory cases. He has a considerable background in complex industrial accident cases, fraud and corruption cases, financial services, multi-jurisdictional confiscation proceedings and Public Law. James has been a leading Junior in two Counsel cases since 2005 and was appointed King’s Counsel in 2023.

Louis Weston is a highly regarded Commercial and Sports Law litigator. He has a wealth of experience across commercial litigation with an emphasis on matters arising from sport, civil fraud, professional negligence, gambling and failed business ventures. He is regularly instructed to gain injunctive relief and freezing orders. Louis mixes superb advocacy skills with ‘humour and charm’ and is complimented for his ‘strong intellect’ and being able to ‘quickly identify the key issues in any dispute’.
