Philip Punwar to judge Middle East Legal Awards 2024

Philip Punwar will be taking part in the judging process, for the second consecutive year in the Middle East Legal Awards 2024 on Thursday, 25 April at Conrad Dubai.

The Middle East Legal Awards are the region’s premier legal awards, this being their 11th year. By recognising exceptional achievement and best practice, the awards underline the crucial role lawyers are playing in promoting the rule of law.

The Awards are open to all law firms and in-house legal departments with a presence in the region to celebrate outstanding achievement within the profession.

The judging process will be based on three categories:

• Private Practice Awards
• In-House Awards
• Awards Open To All

Philip Punwar will also be attending the Awards Ceremony as a guest.

Philip Punwar is an English qualified practitioner with more than twenty-five years’ arbitration experience.

His recent arbitral engagements have concerned real-estate Mega Projects in the Gulf, investment treaty claims arising out of the MENA and South Asia regions, aircraft charter agreements, concession agreements in the water sector and technology disputes in the finance and healthcare sectors.
