Robert Rhodes KC invited to speak on Mediation in Hong Kong

Robert Rhodes KC will address the Hong Kong Department of Justice on Wednesday 19th March, and the Hong Kong Mediation Centre on Friday 21st March 2025 on the topic of Mediation.

The Department of Justice is the department responsible for legal policy, the administration of justice, drafting legislation, and providing legal advice to the government in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Mediation Centre (HKMC), established in 1999, is the first professional mediation organisation recognised as a charitable institution in Hong Kong. It has more than 1,000 members from various professional sectors and plays a leading role in the mediation industry.

Robert Rhodes KC will be addressing both the audiences on:

• The advantages of Mediation in Disputes arising from International Commercial Contracts; and
• The Singapore Convention on Mediation.
