He is an award-winning Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury barrister and joins the London office as of 17 October 2022.
Samuel Cuthbert joins the Health Department which includes the formidable Outer Temple Clinical Negligence and PI teams. He is frequently instructed both as led junior counsel and in his own right. He also has a growing Sports Practice, regularly acting on behalf of both athletes and national governing bodies and has recently been published in specialist Sports Law publications on the topic of concussion in rugby. He is also currently junior counsel in an important High Court dispute relating to the victims of modern human slavery and human trafficking. Before coming to the Bar in 2018 Samuel worked at an international law firm advising on Private, Commercial and Sports Law Matters.
Samuel will be a great addition to the Health Department, supporting its growing niche areas of Sports Law and Travel Law, and enhancing Outer Temple’s client services.
