Senior Practice Manager
Andy Hunter is the Senior Practice Manager responsible for leading and developing Outer Temple Chambers’ Business Crime, Regulatory and Sanctions team. With extensive experience managing high‑stakes, multi‑disciplinary practices, he provides strategic oversight, operational leadership, and first‑class client service to support one of Chambers’ most dynamic specialist groups.
Andy plays a central role in coordinating instructions across business crime, financial regulation, professional discipline, health & safety, and sanctions. He works closely with instructing solicitors, corporate clients, and regulatory bodies, ensuring they receive tailored recommendations and efficient access to counsel with the right expertise for each case. Andy oversees the team’s business planning, diary and fee strategy, listing management, and long‑term client relationships. He also supports members’ practice development, helping them to build and maintain thriving practices across criminal and regulatory jurisdictions in the UK and abroad.
Before joining Outer Temple Chambers, Andy built a strong track record managing specialist teams in leading sets, where he developed a reputation for calm, assured handling of urgent and sensitive matters. He is committed to upholding the highest standards of service delivery and plays an active role in promoting innovation, accessibility, and excellence in Chambers’ regulatory and business crime offering.
