Ben Fitzgerald is a Practice Manager in the Health Department at Outer Temple Chambers.
Ben has been clerking since 2008 and supports Paul Barton in the efficient day to day running of the team alongside Harry Gamble, Graham Woods and Chris Rowe. Ben assists in the development and promotion of both individuals and practice groups that fall within the Health Law areas of chambers’ expertise. These areas include: Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, International Injury and Travel and Sports Law.
Responsibilities include managing and developing client relationships, maintaining and improving service levels, strategic development and management of counsel and their respective practices as well as diary management and fee negotiation.
Ben has a number of years of experience clerking in multiple practice areas, most recently focusing on Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and International practices. He has an excellent rapport with clients, always endeavouring to find the right solution both for clients and counsel in a timely fashion.
Ben studied Politics & International Relations at University of Southampton and has completed short courses including Mental Health First Aid and GDPR with the Bar Council.
