Assistant Practice Manager
Katie joined Outer Temple Chambers in August 2023 as a Junior Clerk and was promoted to an Assistant Practice Manager within the Health Team in May 2025.
Katie supports Paul Barton in the efficient day to day running of the team alongside Harry Gamble, Graham Woods, and Ben Fitzgerald. She assists in the management and development of members practices and ensures that administrative aspects of members’ practices are organised in a highly efficient and effective manner. Katie also regularly assists with diary management and fee negotiation.
She primarily clerks’ the personal injury and clinical negligence practices and always endeavours to provide a first-class service to both members and solicitors.
Katie completed the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks introduction to Business Management Course and achieved an award in 2025 for the top scoring student of the January 2024 intake.
