Nick Levett is the Practice Director in the Business Department responsible for Employment, Health & Safety and related practices.
Nick has been with Outer Temple Chambers since 2007 and is assisted by Mark Gardner.
Nick is responsible for the development and promotion of both individuals and practice groups that fall within the Business Law areas of chambers’ expertise including: Employment & Discrimination, Safety, Health & Environment and Pensions Law.
Responsibilities include managing and developing client relationships, maintaining and improving service levels, strategic development of his practice groups and management of counsel as well as diary management and fee negotiation.
Having been with Chambers for many years he has detailed knowledge and understanding of the specialist practice areas of each Member and the experience and expertise that they can bring to a client’s case.
Nick has been awarded the Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management Law as well passing the BTEC Advanced Award in Chambers Administration with distinction.
He is committed to pro bono and, as Outer Temple’s ‘Pro Bono Champion’, he takes an active role in encouraging Members of Chambers to engage in cases through legal charities and/or legal association pro bono schemes. He was awarded ‘Pro Bono Chambers’ Professional of the Year’ at the 2020 Bar Pro Bono Awards.
