Paul Barton joined Outer Temple in January 2006, and, his high energy and “anything is possible“ approach makes him a key member of the clerking team. This particular energy was recognised in 2016 when he was promoted to the role of Business Development Director and then again in 2019 when he was promoted to his current role of Practice Director.
Despite this change to a leadership role, Paul continues to keep a strong hand in the day-to-day running of Chambers’ Health Department including practice development, diary management and fee negotiations.
Paul has a high profile at talks and seminars up and down the country. He is a member of PEOPIL (Pan-European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers), and in March 2019 Paul was on the committee which successfully brought together lawyers from all over Europe for a two-day conference in Manchester.
Having started his career in clerking in 2000, Paul joined Outer Temple in 2006. He is a long-standing member of the Institute of Barristers Clerks.
