Steve Graham

Management and Clerking Consultant

After many years as a Senior Clerk at a top tier set in London, Steve joined Outer Temple Chambers as Business Director in 2010. He oversaw the clerking and business development across chambers and in 2019 he began to assist chambers on a consultancy basis, particularly focused on the strategic development of our international practice. He was directly involved in establishing our office in Dubai.

After a short retirement, we were delighted to tempt Steve back in early 2024 and he now acts as Management and Clerking Consultant at Outer Temple Chambers. He works closely with the practice management, business development and administration teams to develop Chambers’ practice areas and ensure that an excellent quality of service is delivered to our clients.

Steve is a Past Chairman of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks and is Chairman of the Trustees of the Barristers’ Clerks Benevolent Fund.

He is one of the original members of the Barmark panel. He has served on the Bar Services & IT Committee, the Bar IT Panel, the Organizing Board of the Annual Bar Conference and the Direct Professional Access Committee. He has been a member of numerous Bar Council working parties and has given evidence to and assisted several government review bodies.
