Louis Weston appointed as a member of the IFHA Council on Anti-Illegal Betting & Related Crime

We are delighted to announce that our Head of Sports Law, Louis Weston, has been appointed to The International Federation of Horseracing Authorities’ Council on Anti-Illegal Betting & Related Crime (IFHA Council). The IFHA Council on Anti-Illegal Betting & Related Crime is a think tank comprised of members from organisations engaged in horse racing and sports integrity, law enforcement, the UNODC, and academia. Louis has been appointed alongside two fellow experts, US-based J Curtis Linnell (Executive Vice President of the Thoroughbred Racing Protective Bureau), and Swiss/ Hong Kong sports lawyer Vincent Van (UEFA’s Head of Anti-Match-Fixing), to “further the intellectual capacity of the Council”, says Martin Purbrick, Chair of the IFHA Council.
