Ben Bradley secures £2.3m settlement for client with brain injury after RTA

Ben Bradley has successfully represented a cyclist in a personal injury claim after he sustained life changing brain injuries in a road traffic accident. Ben’s client, WH, was hit by a lorry whilst cycling to work when the lorry driver accelerated to try and clear a junction before the traffic lights turned red. The light had in fact turned red before the lorry passed through, leading to a collision with WH. WH was knocked unconscious and was taken to hospital. He had sustained skull fractures, a subarachnoid haemorrhage and brain contusions. He also suffered post-traumatic amnesia. Four Claimants, all represented by James Counsell QC and Benjamin Bradley, have settled their claims for damages against Chelsea Football Club for undisclosed six figure sums in abuse proceedings. Convicted paedophile Barry Bennell, is to give evidence for the first time, in the ongoing trial against Manchester City FC. James Counsell QC and Ben Bradley continue to act in this ongoing trial for eight victims. On Tuesday 30 November, Manchester City FC will open its case, relying on evidence from the perpetrator himself, Barry Bennell. James Counsell QC and Ben Bradley represent eight victims in the High Court, seeking damages from Manchester City FC after suffering sexual abuse from one of the country’s most prolific sex offenders. James and Ben represent eight claimants who were subjected to sexual abuse by Barry Bennell whilst they were playing for Manchester City FC junior or ‘feeder teams’.
