Victoria Brown is a pensions and employment specialist, recognised as a leading junior in both by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500. Her practice includes pure pensions/employment, as well as related professional negligence work. Much of Victoria’s work is unled, and she is used to appearing against more senior opponents including KCs. She equally enjoys working as part of a team and regularly acts as junior counsel. She is particularly sought after for large-scale, long running or group litigation.
Joshua Cainer has a broad civil practice which covers pensions, commercial and chancery, and employment and discrimination. He also has significant experience in public law, regulatory and human rights matters, particularly where they cross-over with the other areas of his practice. He has been involved in hearings, across various areas of his practice, ranging from the County Court and the Employment Tribunal all the way to the Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court and large-scale public inquiries. He is equally happy working unled or as part of a team and is frequently instructed as junior counsel in complex civil proceedings across all of his practice areas.
