Amna is currently seconded to the Supreme Court as a Judicial Assistant to Lady Simler. She is not available for instruction at this time. She will be returning to Chambers in September 2025.
Amna joined Chambers in September 2024 following successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Eliot Woolf KC and William Young (personal injury and clinical negligence), Gus Baker and Stephen Butler (employment law), and Michael Uberoi (commercial and pensions).
Before pupillage, Amna read law at New College, University of Oxford, graduating with a First in Jurisprudence. She was later awarded the Aziz Scholarship and Roche Scholarship for the BCL at the University of Oxford. For the BPTC, Amna was awarded the Mona de Piro Middle Temple Scholarship. Amna also represented the University of Oxford in the ELSA Moot Court Competition and won the 23ES Commercial Law Moot. She also volunteered at Support Through Court and BPP Legal Advice Clinic.
Amna was awarded the OPBP – Bonavero Institute Student Fellowship at UNRWA Field Legal Office, Jordan. She prepared legal opinions, contracts, and internal memoranda relating to UN employment policies. Amna also worked as a legal assistant to personal injury barristers and gained extensive experience in preparing complex pleadings in high-value cases.”
