Amna read law at New College, Oxford, graduating with a First in Jurisprudence, and was later awarded the Roche Scholarship for the BCL at the University of Oxford. During the BCL, Amna represented the University of Oxford in the ELSA Moot Court Competition, and won the 23ES Commercial Law Moot during the BPTC. She also volunteered at Support Through Court and BPP Legal Advice Clinic.
Prior to starting pupillage, Amna was awarded the OPBP – Bonavero Institute Student Fellowship at UNRWA Field Legal Office, Jordan. She prepared legal opinions, contracts, and internal memoranda relating to UN employment policies. Amna also worked as a legal assistant to personal injury barristers and gained a valuable insight into preparing pleadings in high-value cases.
