Outer Temple Chambers has a large team of specialist commercial law barristers with expertise in all aspects of commercial litigation disputes and non-contentious and advisory work.

Our silks and juniors come from a wide range of backgrounds, with unique and diverse practices. As such, we can provide tailored teams of experts or individuals in cases, ranging from multi-jurisdictional cases to specialist crossover work. Members appear in a range of courts and tribunals, both in England and Wales and overseas, and often at the highest level. In addition, they are often instructed at short notice on urgent matters such as freezing injunctions.

Our work spans a range of sectors including finance, technology, energy & natural resources, transport (aviation, shipping, and travel), retail, property, construction, media, insurance, and sport.

We are frequently instructed in all aspects of commercial litigation disputes and non-contentious and advisory work, frequently instructed in complex, high-profile and substantial commercial disputes, advising a wide range of clients, from directors, shareholders and joint venture partners to business professionals and ultra-high net worth individuals involving corporates, contractors, hotels, transport and energy companies, governments, joint ventures and banks. Over the last year or so, members of Chambers have been involved in very significant claims arising out of international financing transactions, and cutting-edge cases concerning crypto assets and cyber-law.

Given our global reach, our work often has a significant international flavour particularly throughout the Middle East. Not only do our barristers appear in overseas jurisdictions, but many of our clients are overseas, and our cases frequently involve foreign law and complex conflict of law and jurisdiction issues. Our litigation includes interlocutory, multi-day hearings and trials, applications for injunctive relief, pre-action disclosure and jurisdictional challenges.
