Katrin studied law in England and Germany, having completed her undergraduate degree English Law and German Law at King’s College London, the Masters Degree German and European Law and Legal Practice at Humboldt University Berlin, as well as the BCL at the University of Oxford.
Prior to starting pupillage, Katrin worked at Signature Litigation LLP, a specialised law firm handling complex disputes, arbitration and regulatory investigations, often with an international aspect. Throughout this time, she has worked on several large, high-profile disputes.
During the Bar Professional Training Course, Katrin volunteered with the National Centre for Domestic Violence, drafting witness statements and accompanying applicants for non-molestation and occupation orders to court. Alongside her studies and work, Katrin has also gained experience as visiting lecturer and research assistant.
