Michael Bowes QC successfully prosecutes parachute attempted murder case

Michael Bowes QC has successfully prosecuted Emile Cilliers for attempting to murder his wife by sabotaging her parachute, as well as attempting to kill her by means of a gas explosion and recklessly endangering the lives of his children.

Cilliers was convicted at Winchester Crown Court on 24 May 2018 and will be sentenced by Mr Justice Sweeney on 15 June 2018.
