American Bar Association President recognises Gerard McDermott QC with a “President’s Citation”

The citations recognise exceptional service to the ABA. Gerard McDermott QC has been actively involved in fostering good relations between the ABA and the Bar Council and promoting the work of the ABA for over 20 years. This included the planning of the ABA meeting in London in 2000. He is currently working with the ABA in the lead up to their Magna Carta celebration in London in June 2015.

The citation recognises “steadfast loyalty and unwavering devotion to the ABA”.
