PEOPIL was founded in 1996 by a group of personal injury lawyers practicing in various jurisdictions in Europe. Their aim was to set up a networking organisation to provide a forum for personal injury lawyers across Europe and to improve and promote judicial co-operation and mutual knowledge of legal and judicial systems of European jurisdictions in this field. Ian Denham was appointed in September 2022 as Representative for England and Wales on the PEOPIL General Board. Both Sarah and Ian are regularly invited to lecture on aspects of travel law both at home and abroad.
The Joint Occupational Health/Workplace Accidents and RTA Conference in Greece is a two-day event, taking place in Thessaloniki on Thursday 15 & Friday 16 June 2023.
